Chriss Ronson – Madaba

January 27, 2014 in Singles

Chriss Ronson Madaba Ready Mix RecordsMore straight-up deep house sounds now courtesy of Hungarian producer Chriss Ronson.

In its Original form, Madaba is a pulsating slab of disco-tinged deep house, reminiscent of late 90s Paper/Pagan/Toko/Nuphonic tackle and coming topped with the briefest of female vocal snips. Remix-wise, label boss Big Al goes down a more heads-down route with big terrace-y drums  and cavernous production, while Marco Grandi takes us into blissed-out, very late night territory.

Liking all three mixes here but if pushed I think the original just nudges it.

Out: Today on Beatport, everywhere else from 10 Feb.

About: As I just said “label boss Big Al” the more astute of you will already have realised this comes on Canada’s Ready Mix Records – find ’em on Facebook and Soundcloud.
